On the second day, we headed deeper into the desert. Riding camels at sunset was a highlight! It was fun and a little surreal, just riding along and watching the colors change in the sky. We spent the night in a desert camp, and laying under the stars was magical. The camp was comfortable, and the traditional Moroccan food served was delicious.

Marrakech
The first day started with excitement as we left Marrakech early in the morning. The drive through the Atlas Mountains was stunning, with breathtaking views around every corner. Our guide was friendly and shared interesting stories about the places we passed. We made a few stops along the way, including a visit to the Aït Benhaddou, which was absolutely enchanting—it felt like stepping into a scene from a movie.

I recently took a 3-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we set off, the scenery was breathtaking. On the second day, we arrived in Merzouga and got to ride camels into the Sahara Desert just before sunset. That was definitely a highlight! Watching the sun sink below the dunes, painting the sky with all sorts of beautiful colors, was something I’ll cherish forever.
